Sunday

I made pumpkin bread! It was delish :)

We got a gift card to target and I used some of it for this adorable skirt.
The sad thing is, the zipper broke. It actually started breaking during mass lol.
Then it got stuck and I had to ask Paul to help me.

I just realize I like to wear a lot of red and blue outfits lol.

Rainy Fall Friday in The Noog

"Hey!"

I can't wait to hang up the map everyone signed at my wedding!
It's just resting on our couch for now. The colors look awesome:)

I love how bright our living room is even when it's rainy.

Sweater: H&M, Shirt: Thrifted, Pants: Stolen from Meag, Shoes: Thrifted

I've taken up knitting...with my arms. It's so awesome.
I'm planning to make all the girls in our family something
cute for Christmas :D I'm so excited!

Tuna Casserole

Last night I made one of my favorite dishes, Tuna Casserole!
Paul just loves it too. It's great for a cozy cold night. Have you ever made it before?

Amazingly Beautiful Fall Weather

Today is an amazingly beautiful day!

One thing I love (and hate) about fall is how when the sun is shining it gets so warm and glorious and when the sun hides it's almost as if we get a taste of winter... thus all the clothing confusion and tons of layers.

But on a day like today when a cardigan is all that is needed to keep you nice and warm--and a cup of tea ;)--I'm in heaven. We spent the morning outside having a "picnic" a.k.a. snacks on a blanket, rolling down our little hill, and pretending the side walk was a river of fire. And this is my job... I can be a bit mundane but it's pretty awesome.

cardi: h&m, dress worn as a top: f21, tights & necklace: target, skirt: HMD, shoes: thifted

I had fun with you girls this weekend. Although I was sad that I didn't get more time to talk. Weddings are so much fun, but often are hard to connect with people. I look forward to Thanksgiving with you Col. Maybe we could do a small hang out with just the 3 of us then (if there is time). Love you!

Embrace Messy Hair (or Life or Whatever)

So on Monday, when I wrote this draft, I was just laying around, Peter came home early from work because I had the most painful menstrual cramps, which I haven't had since before I was pregnant with Leyna. So this outfit wasn't from today, or Monday, but from last Friday. But I just haven't had a chance to post.

Here was my outfit inspiration:

Of course instead of being outside in the beauty of fall I was standing by a beautiful fall painting (close enough, haha).

sweater & lace tunic: thifted 2nd ave, boots HMD, scarf: charolette russe, legwarmers & tights: kolhs

When I do my hair in the messy bun, I always think of this this poster/motto... which I loooove. On Monday, I felt like I could insert "Life" for "Hair." Like it's good to have messy hair sometimes, I think it's also good to let the rest of life get messy sometimes and just embrace it. Perfectionism is gone on those days! But thankfully Peter did a great job taking care of everything (kids especially) while I was pretty much out of order.

Fringe Boots-Kohls

Paul was sweet and let me buy these because I've missed everyone, especially my twin;)  They were $50 which was a splurge for me.

I know I post a lot! I'm procrastinating;)
