Oil Pulling

I know this sounds crazy but I feel like this works. It's rather comforting to swish oil in your mouth for 20 mins. Paul thought I was completely insane lol. You should try it;)

New Wall Pictures

I hung some new art on the walls. The first two pictures were $5 at a secondhand bookstore. I bought Mona Lisa along time ago and finally decided to hang her in our living room.

I love Mucha's prints! He was a popular Art Nouveau painter back in the early 1900's.

I forgot who this artist is but Meag might now know. It is not Ukiyo-e even though it is similar to his wood prints.

This is Andy Warhol's Mona Lisa.

You Are Mine

I've been trying to focus on my belovedness. Here are some scriptures, quotes and a song that have been helping me.

"You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased."

~Luke 3:22

"I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have written your name in

the palm of my hand from all eternity. I have molded you in the depths

of the earth and knitted you in your mothers womb. I love you. I embrace

you. You are mine and I am yours and you belong to me."

~Henri Nouwen quoting scripture

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.

I have called you by name; you are mine.

When you go through deep waters,

    I will be with you.

When you go through rivers of difficulty,

    you will not drown.

When you walk through the fire of oppression,

    you will not be burned up;

the flames will not consume you.

For I am the Lord, your God...

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you."

~Isaiah 43

Pinhole Camera

You can actually turn your digital camera into a pinhole if you want with black construction paper and aluminum foil. That's what I did today. Here are some of my favorite pics.

Romantic Style

I was feeling rather romantic today especially after taking pinhole pictures with my digital camera. So I came up with a romantic look.

Winter Sunday in the Woods

This Sunday we went to Piney Run Park after mass. There was so much beauty all around us. God is such a great artist! :)
